About These Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Rapid Repair and Maintenance LLC, which does business as Rapid Repair & Maintenance, a handyman business owned by Dalton Nelson, based in Urbandale, Iowa and serving the Des Moines metro. "We", "us" and "our" mean Rapid Repair and Maintenance LLC.

By using this website, sending us a form, or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use our forms or opt in to text messages.

Text Message Program

Rapid Repair and Maintenance LLC runs a text message program for people who ask us for a quote or a call back, and for our customers.

How you opt in

• On our forms. The Request a Quote form and the Contact Us form each carry two separate checkboxes, one for service texts and one for offers by text. Both are optional and start unticked. You can tick one, both or neither.
• On our phone line. When you call (515) 416-6717, pressing 1 in the phone menu asks us to text you a link to our Contact Us form, and pressing 2 a link to our Request a Quote form. We send that one text because you asked for it. It does not sign you up for any other messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of getting a quote or buying any service from us.

What we send

• Service texts (transactional), if you ticked that box: replies about your request, your quote, appointment reminders and confirmations, job updates and account notifications.
• Offers by text (marketing), only if you ticked that separate box: special offers, discounts and news about our services.

How often, and what it costs

Message frequency may vary with your request and your job. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier under your own plan. We never charge you for a text message.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work too. You will get one text confirming you are unsubscribed, and then no more messages. Reply START to subscribe again. You can also ask us to stop by phone or email. Stopping texts does not affect any quote or job with us.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot promise every message will arrive.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number and your text message consent are never sold or shared for anyone else's marketing. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Our Services

We offer interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, interior handyman projects and junk removal in Urbandale and the Des Moines metro. We do not do electrical or plumbing work that needs a licensed electrician or plumber, and we will tell you if your job needs one. Some items cannot be hauled away, such as paint, chemicals, propane tanks and tires, and we will point you to the right drop off.

Quotes and Work

A quote covers the work described in it. If a job turns out to need more than was quoted, we talk to you and agree it before doing the extra work. The price, scope and timing of any job are agreed between you and Rapid Repair and Maintenance LLC before work starts. Information on this website about our services is general and does not form a quote.

Using This Website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to interfere with it, send it anything harmful, or try to reach any part of it other than through the pages we provide. The name, logo, words and design of this website belong to Rapid Repair and Maintenance LLC and may not be copied without our written permission.

Some photos on this website are licensed stock images that show the kind of work we do. They are not photos of our own jobs unless we say so.

Limits of Liability

This website is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error free or online. To the fullest extent Iowa law allows, Rapid Repair and Maintenance LLC is not liable for indirect or incidental losses from using this website or from delayed or undelivered text messages. Nothing here limits any right you have under Iowa law that cannot be limited.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts located in Polk County, Iowa.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the effective date at the top. Using our website, forms or text messages after a change means you accept the updated terms.
